Making a mucic CD!!!!

Post by musicman53 »

Decided to compile and burn a music CD.
Got to where you burn it and it screwed up!!.
Unable to burn or whatever message.
Whatever it did then it did it big time.
Ruined the CD.
Changed to Nero and had no problems.

Hi, please give information as http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic.php?t=8960 described. If no details provided, it's hard for people to know why it happened, thanks.

Well, I have done exactly that, with DVD MF 3 and DVD MF 4 Disk Creator as well as, lately, with DVD MF 5 Plus and I have no issue what so ever. Can anyone tell me why? musicman53 ?? 8)

Tried again and it screwed up.
1, I select the tracks for the CD
2, I drag them to the bottom window
3, I apply volume leveling(that is how it is spelled there)
4, I click the Burn button at the top
5, the burn options and I set that to what I need
6, I click the burn button on that
7, It writes the text(TITLE of CD)
8, IT starts(or so it says)to write to disk
9, up pops the FAILED TO WRITE DATA TO DISC message.
10 results = one disk that is no good.
----------------------------------------------
I can burn a disk on any other program without problems.
52X speed disks(good ones)
48x burn speed DVD-RW drive
Windows XP
1GB ram
AMD CPU(3800+)

You may have a conflict with another burning program. Have you been able to burn anything with Movie Factory, or is the first thing you've tried?

If you have "drag and drop" software running (i.e. Nero In-CD) you may need to disable or remove it. Some burning software seems to take-over your system.

There may be a problem converting your audio files. What format are they? For best results, use 44kHz 16-bit WAV files.
