I have a few questions about the repair file.
1. What is the exact name on the disc?
2. How can I do the repair without losing all the libraries that I already have set-up. When I first got VS10 I had to do a repair and lost all my custom libraries.
3. How do I do the repair. I forgot!!!

jblank37 is quite right to a degree. Whether or not you have the option to repair largely depends on the installer for that program. My downloaded versions do not have it but, from what I have gathered here, the boxed versions, where you install from a CD, have.
All you do is to go into control panel and click on "Change" or "Remove". If you get the option to "Repair", great. If not, you are out of luck and you can only remove the program and reinstall it. That would lose your extras installed after the installation initially. You will have to find these and keep them in a separate folder, away from the installation folder. How to implement them again varies with the different types of files.
