After a VS10+ project is completed (photo's), is there a way to store the original pictures on the same DVD in a file?

Yes, in the final BURN step of the Create Disc module, when you are burning to disc, or creating a Disc Image, you can hit the icon near the bottom that looks like a disc with the small letter "i" -- that will allow you to include a Personal Folder with your DVD
