Some Thumbnails missing and/or won't open
I opened a folder in Photo Explored 8.5 & can see that where thumbnails are normally displayed many of the thumbnails have in stead of a picture it have a Ulead icon displayed. This thumbnail has the name name & file size displayed under it as per normal but if I double click it all I see is a blank screen. If I right click it & ask for it to be opened in other editing programs these other programs open OK but they say they can't display this file format even though it's labeled as a JPEG. Any ideas as to whats going on?
If both PEX and another editor are unable to load and display it, this suggests that the file is corrupt in some way.
Allow your mouse to hover over the thumbnails. You'll see a box with a minimum of three lines: the image/file name, its size and the date of creation. Do this with one of your faulty files. Let us know what is reported.
