I have a movie with a slideshow and a video i need help
It's one picture. I want to show it for 5 seconds then have the movie begin. It previews fine on the computer but on the DVD player after it's burned the picture is displayed for half a second then the movie starts. I tried doing the slideshow for 8 seconds but still it was only half a second long. What's wrong?
Do you want the picture to show for 5 seconds and then go to the main menu to play your movie or have the image as the intro to your video? First way would be to create slideshow and set image duration to 5 seconds and check the first play box. If it is the latter, use your video editor and set the image duration and then merge with video and render out MPEG2 and then import compliant file into DVDMF.

silva086,
Did you ever get this fixed. I'm having the same problem.
If I create a video slideshow, it plays back as set up.
If I try to use this as the first video in a compilation, it plays only for a split second and then the second video plays.
Attempts at entering a slideshow with video react the same way.
If I check the file information on the video created from the slideshow, it shows a duration of only .033 seconds while the video is actually 33 seconds long (set to play the same duration as a sound file included with the slide).
This is driving me crazy. I'm pretty sure I've done this before but have recently upgraded to a faster machine with Windows XP. Could that be the problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
