orientation/rotate query again!
using an oblong object I can rotate the object on its axis x-180 z-180 and then y-point a 360 and point b 0. I now have a neat rotating object on one axis. however when move the object in to more of a 3d plane this is not so easily achieved i have found. x-now 200 . I now have trouble rotating the object on the same axis. Its a ittle difficult to explain. I want to rotate the oblong , lets say its axis runs from top centre to bottom centre, in any plane in space, i can`t do it. It starts wobbling or goes the long way round. I`m confused , are you?

If I'm understanding you right, this should do the trick for you...
First, make sure the Object Manager is visible. It's important to have the right thing selected in the various steps. I'm assuming you just have one object to start with here...
Before you adjust the Orientation, make sure the obect itself is selected in the Object Manger. Now adjust the x y and z settings to make it rotate.
Next (I assume that here you want to move the object over to the right so that the x axis for position is 200): In the Object Manager, select Group. Select Position, and set the x at 200.
Now when you play it, the object should be rotating happily away as before, but over to the side...
Hope this is what you were needing to know!
