I have created a movie and when I output it to DVD it plays on my component DVD player it only displays in black and white. However if I output the movie in VCD or SVCD it plays in colour. It seems to play fine on my computer DVD. Anything I can do to fix the problem?
I have a LG 12x DVD burner and a Panasonic DVD player.

Check your component cables from the dvd player to the TV.
Could be a bad cable or loose connection. Sometimes the black level
in the dvd player's setup menu can be set to ON but that shouldn't cause
complete black & white I don't think.
Also try connecting the DVD player either s-video (NTSC Country)
or "Composite" Cable.
