Lathe objects

Post by m rixon »

I just cannot get my head round using the LATHE OBJECTS facility.Does anyone know of any good tutorials on how to get the best from this function of COOL 3D?Typing this subject into" search "came up with 76 items, not one mentioned Lathe objects.

Just found the champagne glass tutorial and I now know a little about how the Lathe object drawing tool works. However as with many Ulead products they have great functions that are never fully explained.
,leaving the user to either learn from others or give up.This is a shame as many Ulead products are capable of much more than many of us are aware.I am still very interested in tutorials on the Lathe object drawing facility if anyone can help.

I'm not available these days. Maybe I can create some tutorials for C3DPS next week.

htchien. It would be really nice if you could find time to create some tutorials.Creating a can or vase is relatively easy but how would I go about creating something like a simple airplane which requires drawing the fusilage in one perspective then rotating to draw the tail fin and wings in different perspectives.Does this then take us out of lathe objects and into modelling?
