Removing Audio?

Post by Luna »

Hi,

I have CD & DVD PictureShow 3.

In the advanced audio settings I have added recorded audio to several slides/pictures.

I cant seem to find any way to remove this audio from selected pictures?

Ive read trough the manual several times and still cant find an answer on how to remove it?

In the advanced audio above the slideshow timeline there are 2 buttons with X's on to remove audio,I have tried both buttons with the picture selected of the audio to remove and both times all the audio from the whole slideshow is removed .... but worse still the audio I WANTED to remove is still there :(

I know the audio annotation can be enabled and disabled - but does anyone know how it can actually be removed from selected pictures?

Any help with this would be very much appreciated -as its driving me mad!!!

Well I have found a work around for now -
Which is to delete the recorded files from where they are saved in the project folders! Its a real pain as when I open the project up again it complains of missing links and asks if I want to remove the broken links or find them!!!

But at least it works and removes the audio from the pictures!

I'm sure there should be an easier way to do this ... but I cant find it :(

Have you tried the latest v3.0.1.8 patch in http://www.ulead.com/tech/dps/dps_ftp.htm ??

I use that version and to use those 2 "X" buttons to delete the audio in the Advnaced Audio Settings dialog is working in my version....

Hope this helps.

Hi,

Yes I have updated - but those buttons seem to delete ALL audio including the background music and still leave the Embedded music there?

If I record a voice annotation for a picture and make a mistake there seems no way to delete it to record again? It cant be recorded over - just added to.

The only way I can see is to delete it from the project sounds folder and then get broken link messages when restarting the program??

I think they forgot to add a button to delete recorded/embedded audio???

Hopefully someone can rprove me wrong ..... Please!!!!
