Adding clips after music added

Having done one pass of the video project and inserted audio, I wished to add an additional clip at the beginning. This shifted up all the video clips but the music remained at the original position.

Is there any way that you can insert clips and shift everything up together (with the music tied to the relevant clips) or is it necessary to leave the music to last or manually adjust the previously inserted music?

Hi Nick

Unfortunately I think you have answered your own question.
You cannot link a audio/title clip to the timeline.
It is best to complete the video editing first then continue with the other timelines.
In fact follow the tabs at the top from left to right.

But you can (vs8) ‘shift click’ each clip to select – audio –titles etc then drag all to reposition.

It looks like in version 9 this will be possible.

From the version 9 press release: With new ripple editing, it's possible to trim, rearrange or remove unwanted scenes and VideoStudio 9 will automatically shift video clips, music, titles and overlays so that they are in-sync.
