I am able to capture my video from SONY TRV 33 Mini DV tape to computer using Windows Movie Maker.
But when I try to capture the same from that camcorder using Ulead then I could not able to find my Camcorder also when I try to do an import from the devices. But could able to find only Hard Drive. How come I am not? I could find from Windows Movie Maker.
Please help me here. This is like kind of urgency.
Also with Windows Movie maker , I am getting the video v dark. There is lot of diff b/w video I got in computer and what it is really in tape( brightness). Please help here how to get brightness when capturing from Windows Movie Maker atleast?
This is v v urgent.

Capture in movie maker as dv-avi,

This should give you an exact copy of what is on the tape and you should be able to import this into VS without problem.
Import is for importing files from the hard drive into the project, so wehn captured using MM you can import into VS.
