What exactly do you mean by which version do i use?

Are your mpeg2 files HD and if so, what bitrate, size 1940x1080i or whatever.

Same for the wmv-hd files.

Or are your Mpeg2/wmv files standard definition.

Well I'd suggest you only make one first, because it'll look crap.
Take a 720x576 jpeg picture.
Now expand it to 1920x1080 ( I assume you have a proper HD tele and not a pretend one at lower resolutons)
How does it look?
Crap.

That's how your upscaled HD movie will now look.

Get a HD camcorder, check that it also records in full hd mode at 1920x1080i and make your movies with this.

No, they'll look better as sd images dislayed on the hd screen.

well when i play normal dvd-video on my tv the screen looks verrrry nice sharp&smooth
