Lost decoration files

Hi VS Friens,

Using VS10 since September,suddenly I cannot acces my decoration files.
I got the message: Unable to open file C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ul...\MotionF01.swf, File Format Mismatch.

Any suggestions?

Are you still having these problems

In a recent post you lost the decorations and were able to recover using the info from this post.

From Terry If you close Video Studio and delete the uvs.ini file in Documents and Settings\username\applicatian data\ulead systems\10.0 and then re-open video studio, it should resolve your issue.

Hi Trevor,

sorry I lost the Flash animation files (and not the decorations as reported) and by deleting the uvs.in file in documents and settings\username\application data\ulead systems\10.0 it did not solve this problem.

So any suggestions?

Hi VS Friends,

by some more checking it turns out that all Video samples in VS10.0 like flash animation, end visoe's ... cannot be shown, same error message as mentioned in my first report,

It¡¦s a similar problem, and the fix is the same , I think, deleting the correct file will allow VS to reboot and replace the faulty file.

I do not know which file this is, but do a search on the forum.

As far as I know, deleting the files was a quick fix instead of doing a ¡¥repair¡¦ to Video Studio.
If you take this option (repair) you will also reset the library content to its default.

The problem is why is it happening to you????

I can't use my flash annimation either! The thumbnails show, but it is all black when you insert it to the timeline. When selecting properties, the message says the content of the file is unreadable! What's up with that? I did a repair which cleaned out the pictures decorations etc BUT did nothing to the flash annimation? Do I need to uninstall and reinstall?
