As I use MSPro 8 + MovieFactory 4, I decided to uninstall VideoStudio 8
=> DVD burner is no more detected by MF 4.
After re-installing USV 8, DVD burner is detected again in MF 4 !
How uninstall UVS 8 without any problem somewhere ?
DVD burner no more detected

Ulead applications do share some resources. When you have several versions or applications installed, and then uninstall one, it generally takes some parts that are needed by others.
What you can do is uninstall VS8, then either do a repair on MF4 if you have that option. Or simply reinstall DMF4, after uninstalling VS8. Of course make sure you have all your projects, menus etc., backed up before proceeding..

Thank you Ron,
For the moment I keep UVS8.
This is the same situation what Devil explained the 10 th of feb 2006 :
"With vv6.n and 7.n, they were totally independent and could be kept on the same computer. It is not quite the same with vv7.n and 8.0, although it is nearly so. The difference is that if you uninstall 7.n, you should re-install 8.0 as they do have some parts in common. IMHO, it is not brilliant programming to have common files between applications."
