Inserting Title Slide

Post by kittycat »

Help please - as a complete amateur, I can't seem to insert my title slide into my film show - I've got all the slides in line with transitions and edited my title slide, but can't get any further - what am I doing wrong?

My next problem will be adding music, but I haven't got a clue where to start or how to do it - any suggestions.

The links below my signature are to the user's manual and tutorials. As a complete newbie you should probably take a look at them. You will find your answers there, as well as many others you don't even have questions for yet.

Also, the Recommended Procedure should be required reading.

C'mon Roy, I was trying to get KittyCat to do some reading!

For something as fundamental as inserting titles and audio I thought a read of the manual would be a good start for KC.

Thanks to both of you - I'm not adverse to a bit of reading and would like to know more about the programme anyway. The bit I've done already, just feeling my way along has been fine, and I think this is a programme I could do, even with my limited capabilities.

Watch this space and thanks again

Well, I'm not doing too badly thanks to your help, as I've got transitions, music, and got rid of any background noise, but I've still not mastered putting in a title slide at the beginning or part way through - can anyone help please, as I must be missing something. Rather than use the Movie Wizard on ulead I used Video Studio Editor so can anyone advise me please.

Here's a start, it's located in our Products Tutorials Sections

In VS, drag a color clip of you choice from the library to the timeline. Then click on the Title Step button at the very top of the screen. You'll see the Title Library appear, and words on the Preview Window, instructing you what to do to add a title. You can also dray any title from the library to the title track, then customize it to your liking.
