Sound effects wanted (FREE)

Post by willyt »

The kind of file I am looking for is not the standard "a door opening" "a dog barking" etc. that I have been finding on tacky looking websites

I am looking for files of high quality and abstract style for production, e.g. The 7 sec ominous clip at the start of standard horrors... The "swrrrrrrrsh" to cap off a crescendoing music clip.

I am looking for free to cheap stuff (preferably free).
Any help would be great

Been there, done that..;), and you are imposing a major limitation.... CHEAP and/or FREE.. You have found what there is in those catagories. They are on the tacky-looking sites. The quality fits the price. We do have some links to free sounds, and music.

This can be found in our Ulead Products Tutorials Section, in the Free Stuff for Ulead Products Forum.

Or you can scroll down to the bottom of that page and find a list of Links to Freebies

Although it took a bit of searching I did find a couple sound effects
CD's at our local public libraries. Most of them have online searchable
data bases. The neatest CD had the sound of a car crash. I used it as a still picture of our daughter learning to drive and turning a corner faded out.

I need a sound, laughing, just like it is in tv series like "seinfield", "friends" or any other

If I had it already done in past I would definitely help you... I assumed there is someone who maybe already used those sounds and/or knows direct link to DL it

I am sorry if that makes you :? ...

There, took me a whopping 4 minutes. Shame you don't have that kind of time on your hands.

Now when are you coming over to do my project?
