Selecting CD for music source crashes system everytime. I'd rather use MP3 files anyway...does ULEAD Video 10 support this?

VS does support MP3, but some people seem to have problems with certain mp3s produced with particular codecs. So use them but if you have difficulties, convert them to the standard .wav format instead. Bigger files, but safer.

As I have never tried to capture direct from a CD within VS, I cannot comment on that aspect of your problem.

So what's your reason to just quote Ken's post?

I never got this to work either. So I just rip it myself. You can import MP3 or WAV files with no problem.

VS10+ rips CDs for me, but the resulting file usually is missing about 15 seconds from the end, making it unusable.

Therefore, I also rip using another program and import into VS.
