Only burns first minute of movie

I have version 3 SE that came bundled with my video capture card. I've been trying to burn a dvd of a movie I captured. The process seems to go okay and finishes without any errors, says it was successful, but the dvd only has the first 50 seconds or so of the movie on it. When I use the preview function in the program it has the whole movie, it's just not burning the whole movie. What could be the problem?

Another try with the same file, but this time adding chapters. It burned about an hour (a little more than half the full length) of the movie, still not the whole thing.
