Background Music

Post by Gra »

Hi guys

I'm still a beginer with C3D PS and I'm trying to make a short title sequence with background audio over 55 frames. The aim is to get some text to explode onto the screen at a certain beat of the audio (about frame 15). I checked the background audio box and fine, it plays the first time over the 0 - 55 frames, with the particular beat for the text playing around frame 15.

I have smart render checked but if I alter the text to schronise it exactly with the music around frame 15, it still renders everything and the music kind of extends itself so the synchronisation beat has moved well towards the end (and sometimes even runs out of frames before it finishes playing).

Anyone any ideas why this happens and has anyone any solutions???
Thanks & regards.

I kind of had the same problem, and my solution was not to use the background music option and just use the video editor's timelime to add the music and sync there. (video editor is your prefered choice of editor) You then have the ability to slide the music track to the proper place...
