Hi,
I’m using Video Studio 7 SE to convert some of the old family library from video to DVD. There are some pretty old tapes in there (up to 14 years but theres also newer, cleaner stuff) but the first 6 Tape to DVD conversions went well. However, know I constantly run into problems with VideoStudio 7SE.
I capture Video with CapWiz at the following rates:
MPEG
Format: 24 bit (720 x 576)
Comp. Ratio: 4 %
PAL-DVD (Field B, Variable Bit rate, max. 5999 kbps)
Frame Rate: 25
Audio: 48000 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
So I put all the clips into VideoStudio and edit it. Before reading the help entry in this forum I tried to burn it immediately, now I render it via the SHARE/Create Video File /“Same as Project Settings“ option. The result, however is the same: At some point during video generation the program crashes, telling me that it „has encountered a problem“ and also mentioning a UVSEPA.dll.
I tried some variations, different projects, deleting some clips, rearranging etc. – just to make shure there is no movie file corruption (although I’m not entirely shure since as mentioned, the videos sometimes are bad quality due to age) – but the result was always the same. Putting out the project via SHARE/Create Video File/PAL DVD works perfectly.
I’m using a Pentium 4 2.6 Ghz with 786 MB RAM under Windows XP. If I forgot to post any relevant info, I will do so ASAP.
Any help would be greatly apprechiated.
