Rotate Image Dynamically

Post by amassa »

I searched the forums but couldn't find a post about the effect I want to do. I'm putting together a slide show using VideoStudio 10 Plus.

I know there is a way to rotate an image, but what I want to do is have the image slowly rotate while it is being viewed. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks.

Not being in front of my video editing machine to check but I think that VideoStudio only rotates in 90 degree steps.
You would either need a third party plug in or you could use either
MediaStudio (30 day free trial)
or Cool 3D (Came with your copy of VideoStudio)

Stefan Burger's free FX_Bench contains 4 Rotate and Zoom filters, two which fade in (clockwise and counter-clockwise) and two which fade out (ditto). You'll find them at www.burgers-transition-site.de/

I take it nothing does this natively in VS10+.

I'm not very familiar with Cool 3D. Any pointers on how to do this in that program?

Thanks.

I tried the Burger free FX_Bench however it does not contain the rotation I was looking for.

I was looking for a slow rotation of a photo from various angles so that the photo moves (similar to a pan effect).

I'm not sure if there is something in VideoStudio that already can do this or not.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

No there is not, as Steve and Ken have already alluded to.
