Background image problem prevents loading of Photo Express 6

Post by diceverse »

Hi, I have what is apparently a rare problem, I cannot activate Photo Express 6 due to a background image problem.
When clicking on the Photo Express 6 Desktop icon all seems okay at first while it's loading although quite slow, however upon the presenting of the Photo Express home page on the desktop the loading goes no further and then gives way to a pop up indicating that the background image requires resetting.
This message remains frozen on the desktop so that it requires closing down the computer and restarting to get rid of it.
Can anybody please help ?
Thank you,
Ian

cannot reset background image

Post by adore-computers »

Hi all,

I'm the tech that originally worked on this gentleman's problem. For clarity the exact error message is:

"cannot reset background image"

I tried uninstalling, then deleting all Ulead folders & Ulead settings folders in the User profile, but after reinstalling it still presents the error.

Anyone have any ideas?

Error "cannot reset background image" with Ulead

Post by pnalepa »

I have the very same error but with Ulead MovieFactory 6. After many months of pushing this progam to the max, I ran Ulead Photo express and since then the moviefactory will not work. I have delete the folder and reloaded many times with no luck. I do not want to rebuild my computer.

Is there a conflict between Ulead MF6 and photo express.

Please help
