Post by cleobis »

Hi. I'm a newbie and been tryong to create a simple movie...

I'm using windows XP Pro SP2, have an 80Gb hard drive, 38Gb are free, have an ATI Mobility Radeon X700 128Mb, onboard Soundmax Integrated Sound Card

Software Ulead VideoStudio 9

Video file is less than 4 mints long.

I'm trying to create an AVI file 320-240 rez (it's for youtube)

When using DivX 6.4 it doesn't even gets out of 0%! It freezes and after a while says that an error has ocorred and if I want to send te report to MS. The error says this:

AppName: vstudio.exe AppVer: 9.0.0.0 ModName: msvcrt.dll
ModVer: 7.0.2600.2180 Offset: 00036fa3

When usinv Xvid it goes all the way to 90% and then the same happens....

I'm out of ideas....any help??

See if this post answers the problem:
VS: Encoding in DivX format using Video Studio
