at the bottom of the page there is an icon which states sticky. have you checked in the FAQ's if you can use them here?

the silly thing about this is that when the old forum closes all we have written there will be lost forever.

this is like starting over again!

"Stickies" for ordinary users have not been implemented on this Ulead board either - although it is a readily available and very useful feature available on the phpBB - along with the facility to edit your own post.

The icon at the bottom of the page with "sticky" against it just shows what the 'flag' (on left hand edge of threads) would look loki if we had stickies.

Wouldn't worry about information on the old board going missing - there's nothing older than July 2004 on there - posts more than about 5 months old are regularly deleted by someone at Ulead.

Stickies for New User Help

Post by jchunter_2 »

Three days ago I sent an email to the webmaster of this site with a request to make two stickies: The first would be the "NEW USERS PLEASE READ..." post and the second would be a copy of the Recommended Procedure.

I have not received a reply.

BTW, I also requested that users of this forum be allowed to edit or delete their own postings.

Perhaps we all should make the same request to the webmaster...

Beware, this forum will delete your uncompleted post if press the Go-Back button (e.g., to reread the post that you are responding to.) When you return, the edit window is blank. :x

Yes but you don't need to go back John - when you are typing a reply all the previous posts in that thread are displayed below the box in which you type - just use the LARGE scroll on the right side to view them, and then the smaller scroll in the box below if you can't see them all.

Yeah! We can now edit our own posts.

Now, where are the stickies?

I still have received no response from the Web master about stickies.

As to July being the last cut off date so far. are you sure! or have you not marked read in a long time?

There was some good stuff in there.

My opininon and i am sticking to it with or without a Sticky (lol)!

Ok I've found some in there for June but it's easy to check David just go back to the old forum make sure you have 'all messages' selected and then go to the "bottom" or end and you'll see for yourself.

When I follow the "Create Video File" instructions that you've laid out I get terrible results. The video breaks up in several spots. However, if I just save it as an mpeg2 (rather than 'same as project settings' or 'customize') it save real nice.....no flickering screens or break ups. Any idea as to why? I just wonder if I'm selling myself short of having even a better quality production.

IronMike,
The Recommended Procedure is to make a video file from your project and select "Same as Project Settings" only if you have captured to Mpeg and have previously set up your project properties to match your captured video properties.

Please post your captured video properties and your project properties and we can try to see what happened.
