If you search InterVideo's site for WinDVD fixes, you'll find a patch for WinDVD8 if you scroll down far enough in the FAQs.
I have WinDVD7 and find nothing. There are also no fixes for previous versions for which patches existed. There are so many builds out there but no way to update what was delivered?
Anybody have a clue?

The patch on WinDVD's website I believe are for Retail mostly.
The web/esd versions are automatically updated so to get the latest build, you have to redownload the whole trial version.
You can contact IVI's tech support if you want to get download links for a latest WinDVD 7 build. For WinDVD 8, the latest build is on their website.
