Videostudio 10 DVD templates

Post by sgraham »

There are four templates that came with my program. Are there any other templates available for creating DVDs?

From those few you can make hundreds yourself within VideoStudio - if you have/buy Photo Impact you can make thousands.

Some members have provided free templates that you can download and use and you can find those here :-

Also do a search through these forums as this has been discussed many many times.

here is a link to one thread of the many on the subject :-

Even so, if you have the full version of VS10, you should have received more than 4 templates. That sounds more like it is a trial or SE version of the program.

If it is a full download version of the program, did you check that all of the second file (Extra Content) was loaded. There is only one executable file on that, though I thought that was for the templates. If it was not, then all other files in the Extra Content package have to be simply copied and pasted to the computer as they don't install automatically...

Ken,

I purchased and downloaded the full VS10+ package, all three files, instaled everything, and I got just 4 Templates in Share->CreateDisk. In the template Customize property's dropdown list box, all I got were Navigation Buttons. I did not get Frames or Layouts.

For some reason, the VS10+ Movie Wizard has a few more templates as well as the Frames and Layouts in the dropdown list box of the template Customize property panel.

I have just done a quick check in Share > Create Disk, and it seems as though I have 20 basic menu templates to choose from (it may be one or two more or less as I know I saved one or two in the Favourites section which were variants of the stock ones. But that was no more than 2.

The only category in the drop down list under 'Gallery' (second page of the burning module associated with building the menu) which has 4 templates in it are the Text Menus, but there are other more traditional templates in the other categories under 'Gallery' (e.g. 4x3, Classic etc).

Do you not have these various categories listed under 'Gallery'?

No, I do not.

I just see four templates, other than the ones I managed to make in Movie Wizard that, thankfully, showed up in the Share->CreateDisk utility.

You need to install the extra content.
If you bought a download version it will be included in your email message sent to you by Element 5.

On CD it will be in a folder found in 'Utilities'

In the words of the inimitable Emily Litella, "Never mind."

I found them, Steve. Thanks yet again, sir.

I can only hope the answer to my other question will be as easy.

Acabei de notar a sua pregunta em português no final da mensagem. Eu posso usar o til -- Mas tenho de utilisar Microsoft Word e não este programa do Board¡K Pode vê-lo na palavra "não", não pode?!

And before Heinz gets his knickers in a knot, I said (in Portuguese) that I had just noticed his question in Portuguese at the end of his message (asking why the tilda accent sign cannot be seen in messages on this Board). I can see the tilda, but I have to use Microsoft word for it and not this Board editor program. Can't he see the tilda (over the a) in "não"?

PS: Most of the French ones (but not the circumflex) I can do using ANSI symbols (Alt+ numbers from the numerical keyboard).

Sim, posso ve-lo.

Mas como usa o Microsoft Word para colocar as marcas diacriticas no texto do forum?

Since this has gone totally off-topic, I have sent you a PM explaining how to use Word to insert foreign symbols...
