Operation Aborted

Post by yardgames »

Hello,

I've had this problem before (on the old forums) and someone was able to help me, so I'm hoping that I'm that lucky again.

The problem is that, when rendering the disc, I get throiugh the first file's conversion, and halfway through the second's, when I receive an error that says "Operation Aborted." I didn't abort the operation, so I don't know why I'm receiving this message.

What can I do to eliminate this problem?

Thanks

Corrupted MPEG files? I haven't had that exact problem, but I have has some screwy problems caused by corrupted MPEG files. (I've had Workshop crash when trying to set chapters, and I've had A/V sync problems.)

Note that my apparently-corrupted files played fine with Window Media Player, and they played fine in Workshop DVD preview (the final preview under the FINISH tab).

I concluded that the files were corrupted, because I didn't have problems with the same unedited MPEG source file. When I tried to make an edited version of the DVD (edited with Video Studio) it had problems.

I actually have AVI files; the video is DivX encoded; audio is MP3.

Have you used DivX files before? I'm not sure if Workshop has a DivX decoder. (It does work with Quicktime, and I think both are MPEG-4.)

You could try putting the "bad" file first, then you could tell if that particular file is causing the problem.

Make sure your DivX CODEC is v5.1.1 or later.

To get the latest DivX CODEC, check http://www.divx.com
