Hi!
Did PEx 8.6 that comes with PhotoImpact 12 change from preveious 8.6 versions? I only ask in that the memory card/camera reading routine seems different. It use to allow for folder creation based on todays date. Now all i get is a folder prompt. What happened?
I installed PI 12, and removed the old version of PEx 8.6 figuring newer would be better......
Thanks,
Photo Explorer with PI 12 change?

What updates in PEX 8.6 is the RAW support. I'm not awared of the changes you described.

Just noticed the change.
There's no longer an option to put photos in a subfolder of the current date. Now it just puts them all in the root folder. I prefer the old way where I had a folder for each upload date.
Might reinstall PI11 so I can use the older PE.
New one seems painfully slow.

good to know...
So I am not crazy!
Yes, the "upgrade" does not seem like much of an improvement. Thanks for letting us know.

Pi 12 was an upgrade to PI, not to PhotoExplorer, that's why the version number hasn't changed either.JeffKolker wrote:So I am not crazy!![]()
