Can't capture files as MPEG, only AVI and WMV please help!!!

I'm so frustrated! I just bought a new digital camcorder and DVD burner and it came with Ulead.

When I go to capture, I want to do it as DVD to get good quality. However, it won't let me capture ANY kind of MPEG. As soon as I hit capture, it says:

"MPEG capture does not accept MJPG codec. Please change a suitable codec from video format selection. It is recommended to use codec (1) YUV codec first, then (2) RGB-24 codec.

Capture failed. The created file is corrupt and unusable. It will be automatically deleted."

Can anyone please help me?

In troubleshoot it says
"If you want to share and play your videos on other machines, make sure you use a common codec such as Cinepak, Indeo, or MPEG. If you use a hardware codec such as MJPEG, you may not be able to view the videos unless the other machine has the same video card installed."

How can I change my codec?!? This is killing me.

And for AVI in options it says
Compression: MJPG and thats the only choice so I can't change it.
That must be giving me these damn problems.
