HD files burned to DVD no audio

Post by GaryEllis »

I have been using MF v3se for the last year. I record tv through SageTV and have burned many shows to DVD with great success. Now I bought an HD tuner card. I can now record HD TV. I used VideoRedo to cut out commercials and saved to a transport file and to a Mpeg file. Both play very well on the computer...Video is great and sound is AC3 and perfect. I have tried to burn each of these files to DVD. Both seem to burn fine, but the resulting DVD has no audio. The video is very good as expected, but no audio..

Like I said, I am using MF v3se...it came with the DVD drive I put into my HTPC...

can anybody please help me figure out how to get the audio to work?

Thank you,

Gary Ellis

maddrummer,

Does the trial version support AC3? In the past it didn't, and I've always assumed that Dolby doesn't allow any free use of their technology... :?:

hello
Until thère will be realy easy way to to all that hd dvd or blue ray stuff I found a realy easy way to watch my sony hc1 hd camcorder outputs
I've recently bought a laptop (hp 9000series) that I use for hd simple editing with VS10plus this pc includes a good videocard with hdmi output that can be connected to any hd flat panel plasma hd TV ( I prefered myself to viw it with a video hd projector (very bright pana PTAX100) and project on a prepared DYI wall (3.6 m base) . The result is quite unbeleavable (projected a concert : video+audio : for my friends for a test the result is stunning);
this solution is very versatile , You can watch this way whatever kind of HD video format (mpeg-hd wmv-hd or Div x hd)
This solution is an easy way to profit. I stock my huge video on an USB 300G external hd (the cheapest per méga solution)
