I just downloaded the trial version for version 2 and was wondering if I could do the following:
I've created a main menu with my chapters on it and also an item that is linked to a sub menu. On this submenu, I've created a list of songs that I used throughout my movie. What I would like the user be able to do is click on one of the song titles in the list and that song will play. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to do this. I'm not sure if it's my inexperience with the software, the limitation of the trial version, or my concept is flawed.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thnx.

link audio to menu
I've done exactly that several times with concert videos. I have a main menu that has two choices: Play Concert and Select Songs. Then, my sub-menu(s) have a text-list of songs. Each song title is a button (linked to a chapter). I don't have all the details, 'cause this computer doesn't have Workshop.
If you haven't already done so, you need to add the chapter-points first. Advance the video to the chapter-point and click Add Chapter.
With the sub-menu on the screen, you should see a thumbnail of each chapter on the right hand side of the screen.
Simply drag the chapter thumbnail onto the song-title text, and presto, its linked!
BTW - I didn't realize until after I purchased Workshop, that you can Download the user's manual !

DVDoug,
That sounds great and easy enough.
I still have one question: the songs i used in the movie i ended up cuting, shortening, etc. to fit the montage i put together. I want to be able to play the originals in their entirety. Could I just create a new chapters at the end of the movie with no video and just lay the audio tracks down and use that those?
Thnx.
