BD-R/RE disk on a PS3

Post by plee »

Has anybody created a BD-R/RE disk using Moviefactory and played it on the PS3? Also, are the chapter stops working? Thanks.

I was been told yes it will work if you use DVD MovieFactory 5 Plus. However I can not verify it because I do not own both of them (BD/RE and PS3) and will never buy them.

I have actually got it to work with the 'plus' version of the software. The disc played on a PS3 running the 1.06 firmware.

My question is, does anyone know how to prevent the app from re-encoding the clip that I import? In the settings there's a check box that says something like 'Don't re-encode compliant streams', but it does not seem to work.
