Background Not Exporting

Post by Gra »

Hi Guys

I'm new to C3DPS and I've just tried to make a simple text title with the starfield background from easypallet video scene (which looks very effective) for use in a MediaStudioPro eight project.

I imported the C3D file direct into MSP and the text of the title appears but no the starfield. I've tried using the C3D default size and the PAL 720x576 but no luck, although the file plays on the MSP timeline for the length of the starfield scene.

Am I doing something wrong? So far, apart from resizing the screen to PAL 720x576 as my default, I've not changed any of the other C3D PS default settings. Any advice would be welcome (apologies if this is deemed an MSP web board question).
Thanks & regards.

Did you put the C3D clip in the overlay track in MSP? If it is, it will key out the background to make it as a overlay video.

Thanks H.T.

I loaded the clip onto Video 1, so it should have worked without the Alpha Channel blanking things out. Is there anything I should do to prepare the CD3 file before it's imported??
Thanks & regards.

When you insert a .c3d file as a video in MSP's timeline, MSP assumes that you want to use it as an overlay (i.e. with alpha channel). If that isn't what you want, just right click on the .c3d file in the timeline and select 'delete attributes'. This will bring up a dialog box with the overlay options checked. Click OK and your background should now be visible.

Hope that helps.
