Ulead's Volume Licensing Program provides a simple and affordable way for users from creative pro, corporate, government, and academic purchasers to acquire and install Ulead software on multiple desktops at a discounted price.

Ulead offers several ways to purchase the volume licensing:

Option 1: Purchase at Online Volume Licensing Store
Option 2: Contact Ulead Sales
Option 3: Contact Ulead Education Reseller and Distributor

I guess, what Steve has said in between the lines is this: Your purchased version of PI is a single user license. To use it on a number of different machines simultaneously, you either need to buy another license or use volume licensing.

Yes..It is like buying a car to get to work with during the week but can't use it on Saturdays to go fishing. :D Most people today have a computer at home and a laptop, like me and can't use the program while on the road away from home. It should be allowed for a least two computers as long as they are used by the one who purchased it for personal use..Cheers..Keithmj

You are quite right Keith, that's why I said to use two simultaneously in an office  It is a single user license, not a single computer. As long as you are the only one using it, I don't think there is a problem.

Single User License.
Heres another thought turning that theory on its head.
You have ONE computer but FOUR people regularly use it.
How many licences required?

I think the license should be single PC. To make sure, you need to contact Ulead.

I can see why they do it..If they don't anyone can copy the program and sell the copies and make money off of it. It is easier just to do it this way than to go after the individuals that abuse a good thing. I try to see it from their point of view as to why they do it. But I figure as long as I am using it on my own "personal" computers, know matter what other family members may use it on my compute and I do not copy, sell or give the program away and don't use the computer in a business there is no problem. I am also using Paint Shop Pro 7 and upgraded to version 9 and then 11 and I talked to them when I purchased the newer ones that it is a shame that I have older versions that I am not using and they said give them away to someone as sooner or later they will buy the newer ones. It is people who copy and sell on Ebay and other places that they are really trying to stop, not a guy who has one PI program and two computers at home..Personal use, yes..Business use..No..Cheers...Keithmj
