ERROR SERIALIZEBB ERROR

Post by yaca »

hi

I've got a problem when I try to select the "image" category but never with the others categories

A warning appear :

"error serializeBB error" and "Load from stream error"

I uninstall and clear temp files, registry,... but no result.

Have you got an idea ?

Thank

That error has been posted a couple of times. The remedy seems to be to completely remove and reinstall the program.

Try doing a complete un-install/re-install. Ulead programs leave a lot of files behind. So just doing a simple add/remove programs from the control panel and then re-installing may not correct some issues. Instructions can be found here : Re-installation of Ulead Products

One specific file VS_Video.DAT may have something to do with this.
This Post revealed the fix for this error.

You haven't identified which version of video studio you have.
The sample images that came with video studio are located here:
c:\program files\ulead systems\ulead videostudio 10\samples\image
or if you have version 9
C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio 9.0\Samples\Image

Perhaps you have a corrupted image - try moving them away from that folder to a temporary location on your computer and if you no longer get the error, then return them a few at a time to home in on the faulty one.

Have you installed any of your own images into the image library - if so those are the most likely candidates for being corrupted - obviously these will be kept elsewhere on your computer so you would have to track them down.
