Preferences Options Etc

I am trying to learn more about my video software. I entered into TOOLS
"Change Capture Plug In" and "Select Device Control". There are many other options that the HELP does not reference. Why doesn't Ulead give a full reference manual on all these options?

Video Studio is Ulead's entry level video editing software package and they therefore want to keep it as simple as possible.

My Help file does reference these, as does the manual.
