I am trialing DVD MovieFactory 5 Plus because Version4 that came with MSPro 8 will not allow me to use music with the Version4 menu. I just get the error message "Convert step got some problems" and it quits.
Version 5 does allow me to use music, but I would like to have the entire track play if the user does not press play. At the moment the track only plays for the duration of the motion menu item (20sec) then starts over again.
Is there any way that I can enable the track to continue to play through while the menu screen continues to be displayed? I have looked in the manual and can't find any info that helps.
Menu music.

Thank you for your suggestion. It worked.
It seems that if the menu has motion, the music is tied to the menu item.
If there is no motion, the music continues to play.
I did buy the full version after testing it, but am disappointed that the button to allow compression so that a larger file will fit onto the DVD is not in the full version!
Did you go through the burn step -- if it's too large for your target disc, you should get a prompt to "try to fit DVD"Ormond Williams wrote:I did buy the full version after testing it, but am disappointed that the button to allow compression so that a larger file will fit onto the DVD is not in the full version!

No I didn't get that message.
I fooled around with all those compression settings, which didn't seem to have a way of applying them to the project.
In the end it did fit even though the mpeg that I made with MSPro 8 was 4.8 megabytes. I hadn't noticed it was that size until I started using MF. In future I will make sure that the rendered file is smaller!
It's a bit disappointing to search the manual and find just statements that certain items exist in the software, but they don't give any clues on how to use most of them or what they are for!
I guess telepathy might be the way they intended for people to learn how to use the software???
