Transition Effect

msp8.0

I think it's a Transition effect.

How do I have it so the screen is all black but in the middle you can start to see the video and the black rolls to top and bottom until you can see the whole video in wide screen? Kinda like opening your eyes.

Barn Door - Slide (edit the transition to make it go Vertically).

Thanks George, That did it alright, What If I want to slow down the speed of the doors opening, Is it with Transition Degree? I dropped it to about 80 and seems to be working now

Transition degree is the amount by which the transition is completed at a given keyframe. Usually, this is just 0% at the first keyframe, 100% at the last, but you can have different amounts at keyframes during the transition. In your example, you might use it to vary the "openness" of the eyes during the transition, giving the effect of someone waking up. You can also start at 100% and work your way back to zero, to reverse a transition.

To slow the effect down you need to increase the length of the transition from
1 second = fast to
5 seconds = very slow
