video studio 10 plus

Post by gnanas »

Hi,

I developed a slideshow using only photos and a sample video clip available on the VSP10 and burned a disc. It works fine when replayed on TV using a DVD player. I belived the final product is a DVD format. I have deleted the original working file and wanted to further edit the DVD I have created. To my surprise when I down loaded the DVD into VSP10, I was able to download only the sample video clip. the photos could not be downloaded. Did any of you faced similar issues? What would be the solution to download the full DVD I have originally created?

Regards

Once you have burned a slideshow of still photos to a DVD, on the DVD they no longer exist as individual still photos. They have become part of a full motion video mpeg-2 file.

That is point one.

Point two is: how exactly did you download the DVD into VS? Are you certain that the video of the slideshow is not at the end of the stock video clip you used? And if you used Insert DVD/DVD-VR, did you tick all the white boxes in the screen which appeared?
