I created a video & slide show in VS10 and created a DVD of it using the Create disc... option from the Tools menu. The DVD created fine but when I played it, I realized that I forgot to change the color option on some of the Peel transitions that I used. I went back into my project in VS10 and made the color changes from the default bright green to a pale yellow on the transitions.
When I previewed the changes they looked good. However, when I chose the Create disc... option again from the Tools menu, and created another DVD, the colors were still the default bright green on the new DVD.
I have tried this several times with the same results. Does anyone have any thoughts as to why these changes aren't being applied to the DVD?
By the way, I am running VS10+ on an IBM T43 laptop PC with WindowsXP Professional.
Thanks

I suspect you are jumping straight from your slideshow project in the timeline to the burning module (Share > Create Disc). This automatically inserts your project into the burning timeline. Then you jump back to the timeline, make your further edits. But do you save the project file again at this stage? Even if you do, if you have left the original project file in the burning timeline, it is not automatically updated to reflect your latest edits. You would have to close the burning module, then re-open it for the new, updated project file to be inserted.
You need also to be aware that we generally discourage this work flow anyway as it causes problems for a lot of people. If it works for you, though, that is fine. But if you reach a point where it doesn't, then you need to be aware of our recommended work flow.
That would have you compile and edit your slideshow (or video) in the timeline, then when you have completely finished editing, you go first to Share > Create File > DVD. This will convert your slideshow to a DVD-compatible mpeg-2 file. You then close the project. You should then have an empty timeline. Then you click on Share > Create Disc. The burning module will open and you insert your new mpeg-2 of your slideshow. Create your menu and burn.
