Moving Mask

Is there a way to apply a moving path to a mask only?

Here's what I want to achieve. I have a scene at the beach and want the upper part of the scene (sky) to be more saturated and with a glow effect.

I have the same AVI in track 1 and track 2. Now I would like to mask out the upper half of the underlying track. But since the scene changes I need the mask to follow the skyline.

You can use video mattes as described in the manual p. 114. If you have VideoPaint, it is even easier. You can apply moving paths to any matte, as well.
