Convert step got some problems

Post by Ormond Williams »

On trying to burn a DVD from an mpg video file Ulead DVD Movie Factory that is part of MSPro it stops and gives an error message:
"Convert step got some problems" then after clicking OK it says:
"Unspecified error. Report ID: 0x800411da(4570)

Does anyone know why this happens please?

Could be any of several causes. Basically, it means that your input file has a fault, such as a blank area (one frame is sufficient).

Devil,

I checked for Empty Time Slots, but there were none. It did show the only empty time slot was at the end of the video.

On Video 2 timeline there are many empty slots between video and stills, but Video 1 timeline has no empty slots. Would this cause a problem?

I am at my wits end. I have rendered this 1 hour 25 minute video four times now, but still get the problem. I am using DVD Movie Factory 4.2 which is part of MSPro 8. I am thinking about buying Version 5, but don't know if that will fix the problem.
What do you think?
