On the page listed below, under DECORATION, I am following Steve's example step by step. I am using the exact same clip(the water) and the same decoration(the sail boat). I have placed the sail boat to the right as Steve has. I should say that I started a new project before doing this. I am using XP home edition and VS 10 Plus. I have set the Direction/Style to enter from the right and Exit from the left. I click on project and then play. What happens now is that the boat moves to the left a little, then pauses for approx a second and then zips accross and exits to the left. I am curious about the pause. Is this normal? I do not see anywhere as to how to keep it from doing this. Thanks very much for any replies to this.

Question about one of Steve's examples
Friends, John
Hi John
I also cannot keep the boat sailing without a pause, the only way i could do it was, start a new project, place a solid color (Green) in the main video track, put the boat in the overlay track roughly where you need it, i then went share, create video file, DV 6:9, open another new project insert the new video file into the main video track, find the paused portion and using the scissors cut the pause out, then share create video file (same as first clip),then use that clip in your video and use the chroma key function to remove the green background

I am currently working on a set of videos that will demonstrate the full range of VideoStudio (hence I haven't been on the forum this past couple of days)
Ron has answered correctly but it will become more clear when I release the suite of videos hopefully within the next few days.
