Still Image capture from still image!

I use the make into single still image (snapshot) feature a lot from movie files, but can you do the same with existing still images?? The option to do so is always blanked out when I select one. For example, I have a photo with the pan effect on - so over about 30 seconds we are zooming in the the picture, but I then want to freeze frame that picture at a certain moment and fade out, not simply fade out before the zoom is complete etc
Any ideas??

Hi

Select the frame to be saved as image
Use scissors to cut clip.

Switch to ¡¥project¡¦ playback mode

Use Tools-Save Current Frame as Image

This will take a snap-shot of the frame.

Insert still image at cut point.

Interesting effect.
