Convert mono audio tracks to stereo

Can an audio track that is mono (left side only) be duplicated in DVDWS, to play on the right side also? If instead I have to create a new audio track outside of DVDWS, can it be reimported and re-linked to the video clips without losing all the chapter points?

you have to do it in an external software. But you should be able to use the new audio track without losing your chapters

You can only add the new audio without losing the setup if the video and audio files were added seperately, like .mv2 for video and .ac3 for audio.

I moved the mono tracks to a new folder, converted the mono tracks to stereo in Cool2000, kept the same name for the new audio files and put them in the original folder where the mono tracks had been. When I restarted the DVDWS project, the stereo files had replaced the mono files.
