the following problems with Studio 10:
If we try to install Studio 10 on a PC without Nero installed everything is fine. If we do so on a PC with Nero 6.6 installed the installation hangs on the state of 100%.
Do you know this problem?

The only think I can think of -- though not in this precise context -- is that Nero 6 installed a program called InCD by default. It is known even by Nero to create difficulty for other programs, including Video Studio, by in effect taking over the burner drive and denying access to it to these other programs. (In Nero 7, it is no longer installed by default and you have to do a Custom load to install it.)
I have not heard of InCD actually blocking a proper installation of VS, but who knows?
If you don't use InCD, you might try uninstalling it -- it shows in Add/Remove Programs as a separate entry, apart from Nero. Then try reinstalling VS.
