Hi,
I made a dvd slideshow and although worked/viewed perfectly on my PC and standalone dvd, it will not work on my grandson's dvd or laptop, he receives an I/O error. Can anyone please enlighten me to what could be happening with this?
TIA

A number of things are possible.
If the exact same disk played on both your computer and set top dvd player then your grandsons pc either does not have dvd playback software installed and so the codec is not there to allow the dvd to play back. However that would not explain why it deos not palyback on his DVD player. The most likely explanation being +R -R compatability.
Are you sure he tried it on a set top box and not just on his PC?
Finally mucky fingers?
