system crashing
I just installed Ulead VideoStudio 6 and every time I add a picture into the track the whole thing shuts down. Any ideas?

Cloey -- the first major complication with your question is that VS6 is now positively ancient. Very, very few people on this Board have ever used it, and probably even fewer remember how to do things with it. We are now up to VS10+.
But the second, and even larger complication is that you don't really tell us anything we can work with. What sort of 'picture' are you talking about: a video or a still photo? What are its properties? How exactly were you trying to insert it into VS6? What sort of project are you working on? What are you aiming to do with it: burn a DVD or something else? (I am not even sure VS6 could burn DVDs -- does your version have SE in the title, and perhaps 'Basic' or 'DVD'. Where did it come from -- was it bundled with a piece of hardware you bought?)
And we also need to know something about your computer: what are its specifications and what is the operating system (Windows XP?)...

I realize it's pretty old but it's all I have and up until now it's been doing the trick.
What I am trying to do is add a still picture into a video I'm making of my trip. It's just a small Jpeg image that I want to add. Just dragging and dropping it into the track. It will accept the picture but then it goes blank and shuts down. I have other pictures in the track so I don't know why it all of a sudden won't accept any more. The movie is only 15 seconds long so far. Maybe the program is just too old but I don't understand why I couldn't use it for a simple movie. I got the cd as a gift awhile ago. No SE in the title and my computer is working off of XP.
Thanks.
