Hi there one and all,
New to this forum as I was having a nightmare with my VS 10+. I had previously used it with no problems and then one day it refused to play ball. Each time I ran it I would get to the first menu of VideoStudio Editor/Movie Wizard/DvtoDVD Wizard. Whichever one I selected I would be met with an error message telling me that the program had experienced a problem and will shut down. I followed all advice on this forum but eventually tracked the problem down to the FFDSHOW codec. As soon as it was deleted then normal service was resumed.
Thanks for all the advice I read but for others it may be FFDSHOW that is causing their problem. I found two files on my PC: FFDSHOW.AX and FFDSHOW.EN and deleted them both.
