The first bit of light at the end of that tunnel :D let's hope it's not a train coming our way

That is the first sign that Corel is not going to let the prosumer product die in favour of hobbyist software.

I have my fingers crossed.

The Ulead HD DVD Muxer offers versatile, professional authoring capabilities. Adopted by the DVD Forum to develop verification discs, the Muxer supports all functions in the HD DVD specification 1.0 and supplemental specifications, including HD-DVD Standard and Advanced content for picture in picture, multi angles, and seamless playback, as well as sub-video and sub-audio

The heading of the article is very interesting:
Complete HD Solution for OEMs, Studios and Businesses

Does that indicate "retail" package for regular consumers :?:

Putting a (presumably) LE version in OEM hw/sw bundles wit no associated full-featured product makes no sense whatsoever from the marketing standpoint. If someone says otherwise they should take a refresher course.

All I see on forums of every persuasion is "Where's DVDWS3" or its succeeding product? People read this presser and saw hope that there was something coming, even if only for HD. There is a demand, so why not meet it?

Even McDonalds figured out it was time to sell chicken and salads :P

Now we can continue to discuss DVDMF related issues here.

Hi Terry,

Yes, there is a demand. We will see if the upcoming DVDMF 6 is the one mentioned in the press.
